Neon Genesis Evangelion, Vol. 1 by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto

Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's adaptation of Hideaki Anno's Neon Genesis Evangelion is decent, though it lacks some of the emotional authenticity Anno's work had in spades. This is all a cover-up for a story that is actually a bildungsroman about a boy who is seeking acceptance from the father who abandoned him years ago, with a whole heaping of Gnosticism and Hermann Hesse thrown in. You probably know the story by now, about a post-apocalyptic world in which 14-year-old children are sent to kill life-forms known as Angels, who will destroy the world. After The End of Evangelion (which I loved), I decided to expand upon the NGE franchise and start reading the manga. It certainly is a show of its own kind and its influence has been massive. I watched the show for the first time in August and while I didn't think it was the greatest show to have ever been made in Japan, I connected with it on an emotional level. 1 by Yoshiyuki SadamotoĢ015 has been the year of Neon Genesis Evangelion for me. I get into these kinds of fits regularly though. Also, I've been feeling really down about my writing lately which is probably why I haven't been posting here as often. It's not very well written or thorough, but I figured I would save that when I reached the end of the manga. 1 manga adaptation by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, so in lieu of writing new content, here is the thing I forgot to post.

I had forgotten that I wrote a short review on the Neon Genesis Evangelion Vol. Sometimes all you need is a break and a little push. The very next day, I received my wig from Arda Wigs and so happy was I to see the fantastic color that I was ecstatic to work on my costume again. I went to a dark place then, somewhere I haven't been for the past few weeks. These alterations are insane and I was at a point recently where I felt as though it was impossible. Apologies, the Halloween costume from hell has taken over my life.
